For those of you who’ve been here before, we thought you might like to see how Lucy’s getting on. She’s the daughter of Chris and Vicki, who both work in our head office, and who featured here just after her arrival in October 2005. |
|
So apologies to any of you who found your appointment suddenly rearranged, but family has to come first. And having caused so much disruption, happily Lucy’s back |

An interesting recent project was refurbishing some park buildings for Lambeth Council. At Ruskin we converted a disused Cricket Pavilion (below left with one of our vans in shot) into ladies, gents and a disabled toilet. We’ve also carried out top to toe renovation of the Office, Shelter and most fun of all, Bandstand which now forms the piece de la resistance in the centre of the park. Centre piccy below shows the reconstruction of the floor spiral that was suffering, like the rest of the woodwork, with damp, rot and/or worm - No Problem for us though. The picture on the right is the Bandstand back to full glory after many years of neglect, with our Simon, who ran the Site, celebrating the grand opening with Lambeth Mayor Liz Atkinson. Thanks also Friends of the Park Chairperson, Mary, for her valued support. The Bandstand in particular required extensive resin repair. Click on the RESIN REPAIR navigation button to find out more about this treatment. |

We would also like to extend belated congratulations to one of our Operatives on the arrival of his new baby. Sean Boyland (See pic left) and his partner Ruth, became parents for the first time earlier this year with the birth of a boy they’ve named Kieran. Our best wishes go to them all. |
